We work with companies at any stage! However, we enjoy most working with start-ups, including those that have previously received funding but are struggling to scale. We are selective in our criteria and only work with those that are committed to change. We see ourselves as “interim co-founders” and help them to achieve their potential by bringing hands-on leadership, guidance and business know-how that goes well beyond simply raising capital.
Who We Are Not
We are not traditional investors. If you only need funding, we are not a good fit. You should seek more appropriate sources of capital. You might also check out our Partners and Advisers and directly contact those individuals that have a direct interest in your company’s target market. They may be able to help.

What’s in it for us?
We take our role as “interim cofounder” seriously! For our work in helping the company succeed, we ask for a meaningful amount of equity. Not preferred shares or anything else with a tricky preference, but rather common shares, just like the founders. We may also charge a fee to cover our legal and other expenses, but generally receive our compensation at some agreed-upon milestone, such as the close of the next fundraise.
To be perfectly clear, just like founders, we only make money if the company reaches a meaningful exit.
